Chickens were born to scratch and peck, and that’s exactly what they do here at Sweet Magnolia Farms. Our chickens are on grass at all times, and they constantly forage for bugs and grubs in the soil. We keep them in a floorless coop to help with predators, and the coops get moved every day to new, fresh ground for them to forage.
Promoting natural behaviors and healthy diets for superior chicken quality
They always have access to fresh water and organic and soy-free food we buy direct from a farm. They are in the open air with sunshine and shade. We don’t spray the ground with any chemicals or fertilizers, and the chickens are free from vaccines, hormones, antibiotics, and steroids.
